SMS & Messaging Terms — DAL Ohio LLC

These terms apply to text messages sent by DAL Ohio LLC ("we", "us"), a real estate acquisition company based in Ohio. By providing your mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive text messages from us, you accept these terms.

How we obtain your consent

We add a mobile telephone number to our messaging list in one of two ways, and in both cases only after the person has agreed.

Verbally, during a telephone call. This is how consent is obtained in most cases. We contact property owners by telephone, and where the conversation reaches the point that text messages would be useful, we ask on that call whether we may text the number, and we record the answer.
Through the contact form on our website. The form on our home page carries optional consent checkboxes. Ticking them is never required in order to submit the form or to receive a reply from us.

We do not buy, rent, or import telephone numbers from purchased lists, lead vendors, or any other outside source for messaging, and we do not collect consent on behalf of any other company. Consent is given to DAL Ohio LLC and is used by us alone.

What our messages are about

We send text messages to property owners and to people who have asked to hear from us. Our messages relate to real estate only. They cover:

An enquiry about a property you own, and whether you would consider selling it;
Follow-up on a conversation you have already had with us;
Information about an offer we have made or are preparing;
Scheduling — arranging or confirming a call or a visit.

We do not send marketing unrelated to real estate, and we do not send messages on behalf of other companies.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. It depends on the conversation you are having with us. In most cases this is a small number of messages — typically no more than a few per month, and often fewer. We do not run automated recurring campaigns that message you on a fixed schedule.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for our messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them according to your plan. If you are unsure, check with your carrier.

How to stop messages

You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP. STOP is honoured on any message we send you, whether or not that particular message says so. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will not text you again. You may also email info@dalohiollc.com and ask us to stop, and we will remove your number.

Opting out of text messages does not remove you from other contact methods you have agreed to. If you would like us to stop contacting you altogether, say so and we will.

Reply HELP to any message and we will respond with our contact information. You can also reach a person at any time by emailing info@dalohiollc.com.

We do not sell or share your consent

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number or your messaging consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Consent you give to DAL Ohio LLC is for DAL Ohio LLC only. Where we use a service provider to help us send messages, that provider acts on our instructions and may not use your information for anything else.

Agreeing to receive text messages from us is never a condition of selling us a property or of doing business with us in any way.

Supported carriers and delivery

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Some carriers may not support this service.

Age

Our messages are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly send messages to anyone under 18.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
